Carborders - What's that all about?

I share a love of paper, stickers, bling, inks and stamps with card makers and album makers.  We are often all creating in the same room at a workshop.

One of the things I love to do for my customers is offer the opportunity to try new products via a Make and Take project.  I'm always in a dilemma about whether the project should be a card or a page border.

So, I put my thinking cap on and found a way to make something everyone can use!  It's called a Carborder. We begin with a 4" strip of cardstock and create a piece of art to decorate the right hand side.  Once completed, card makers can score and fold and album makers can stick it to a page.

Scored and folded it is a card that will fit in a C6 envelope.

Added to a page the left hand side can be used for a photo, a title or journaling.

Each station will offer the opportunity to create one 'Carborder' that you can turn into a card or a page border. The photos above show our La Vie En Rose Carborder.  You will receive a kit with all supplies pre-cut and be shown a different stamping technique at each station.

Once you've made your Carborders, head back to the tables to work on your projects for the rest of the day.  We will have a sampler pack of new products and a handout of page sketches to use your Carborders in your albums.
