Swan Lake Australasian Blog Hop

Welcome to the Australasian Swan Lake Blog Hop.  This is a circular hop.  If you arrived from  Vandra's blog you are in the right place. I completed the 3 layouts following the instructions for the kit (which you can download from your Consultant's website).  If you don't have a consultant you can click here for my website.

Using the leftover papers and embellishments I created 2 extra double page layouts.  Once these were done, I only had a few scraps left and they were tossed in the bin.  How fabulous is it to use EVERYTHING in a collection - no storage required.

 



The title is created using the Swan Lake Complements. (X7212C)  All the flowers were created with the Thankful for You thin cuts and stamps bundle (Z4007).  The flowers vary in sizes and can be layered.  A photo will cover the swans cut apart card, just leaving a thin border of sapphire showing.  The narrow strips of light blue paper are zip strips cut in half.



 

My second layout used the last of the complements and a few more stamped flowers. Both these pages will feature photos of my lovely mum with her carers.  They make her very happy and I want to acknowledge their role in her life, in her album.  Here are some close ups from each page.
