Welcome to the December Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from Anne’s blog you are in the right place. This is a circular hop, click through to the blog mentioned at the end of each post and you will end up back here. You are in for some sweet treats as you sample the delights cooked up by my sister consultants using the Cutie Pie Stamp of the Month(S1412).
I have used this stamp set on a High Tea page but I wanted to do more than just stamp cup cakes. I had a little play and discovered one of the cupcakes tessellates really nicely and decided to use that as my focal point in the centre of the page.
So, here is my page. Scaredy Cat papers (X7185B) were chosen because this High Tea was a fundraiser and purple was the theme colour. The images are stamped using Black Archival Ink (44751). Allow it dry thoroughly for about half an hour and then have fun with the Shin Han Alcohol Markers. I chose to use vibrant colours but there are more subtle hues in our range of 24 pens. See page 180 of the Annual Inspirations catalogue to view the range. Create a second centre piece and layer it over the first using foam tape (Z1151). The scalloped border was created using the Scallop Border Punch (Z1851) on 3/4″ strips of paper. Mitre the corners for a clean finish.
The title was made using the banner from the stamp set and Keyboard Uppercase Alphabet stamps (B1416). I love these small letters and use them a lot on my pages. The little sparkly butterflies are from the NEW Puffies stickers(Z3038), they add some fun to the layout. I love the fact they have foam in them so they are not too high in my album.
Cutie Pie (S1214) is only available during December, 2014. Full retail price is $27 but you can have this gorgeous set for just $5 when accompanied by a $75 order. With the launch of the NEW Seasonal Inspirations catalogue today, it won’t be hard to make that order!!
I’d love you to leave a comment before you move on to Maz’s Inky Fingers Blog to see what she has cooked up.
Keep Smiling,
Shaunna
