Blog BadgeWelcome to the February Australasian Stamp of the Month Blog Hop.  If you have arrived here from  Patricia's Blog, Patricia Manhire's Creative Corner, you are in the right place. This is a circular hop, click through to the blog mentioned at the end of each post and you will find yourself back here.  There’s a lot of love shared in the cards, pages and projects created by my sister consultants using A Happy Hello, Stamp of the Month (S1502). Enjoy!

I have been wanting to try this spiral technique for some time and this stamp set was ideal.  This is the title page for my 2015 album.

Position a 6.25" photo mount 2" from the RHS and 2.5" from lower edge of the page. Begin with the smallest stamp at about 9 o'clock; stamping it 4 times before swapping to the next size stamp.  Continue around until you overlap where you began.

I used 5 inks - Honey, Autumn Terracota,Cranberry, Hollyhock and Gypsy.  Having one colour more than the repititions of the stamp makes the pattern more random.  The larger flowers are made from 2 stamps.

Matching cardstock to inks is easy with the Close To My Heart range. Matching cardstock to inks is easy with the Close To My Heart range.

I stamped directly onto the white cardstock background so it was really quick to do.  Gold sequins(Z2012) and Bitty Sparkles (Z1263) were the only accents I needed.  My letters are cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.

A happy HelloA happy Hello (S1502) is only available during February, 2015.  Full retail price is $27 but you can have this gorgeous set for just $5 when accompanied by a $75 order. I’d love you to leave a comment before you move on to Doris' Blog, Doris Taylor Creative Expressions, to see what she has designed for you.

Keep Smiling,

Shaunna

What a great idea & it works so well - love your colours too. Really like the detail of adding the small branch stamp to the 2015.
