Taste of Summer - Debs & Duchies

sept-2-pages-page-007
This layout gave me the opportunity to use up lots of the scraps from my Taste Of Summer papers (CC1038).

Group shots featuring a large number of people deserve being enlarged - especially when it's a dress up shot and we want to honour the creations everyone took time to put together. I began with a Cricut overlay from the Artbooking Cartridge. I cut an 11" square overlay and trimmed it down to fit the space. I began with a Cricut overlay from the Artbooking Cartridge. I cut an 11" square overlay and trimmed it down to fit the space. Then I added a bit to the side to make it cover the 12" width of the page

I randomly punched circles from all my scraps and placed them face down on the back of the overlay. My goal was to have no adjoining spaces covered in the same paper. It was quite easy because there are 6 designs in the Taste of Summer pack. I glued all of these in place with my Bonding Memories glue. My journaling box was a 3" x4" piece of white cardstock with a strip of scrap paper down the side and a strip of 1/4 Boardwalk Washi tape(Z3066). The Wavy Blooms (D1651) flowers were stamped on white daisy and fusty cut. The page was finished off with the Lemons Zip strip from one of the papers and a Cricut cut title.  I made the title in Cricut Craftroom so I could weld the letters together.
