Bunting Title Scrapbook Layout

Standard

CASEing layouts is one of my favourite pass times! Why strain my brain when someone else has done a fine job?  What’s CASEing you ask?  C.A.S.E stands for ‘Copy And Share Everything’.  Whenever you copy someone else’s layout, you are CASEing it.

8x4 Blog double page photos - Page 004

This layout is copied from Pattern 9 in CTMH’s Make It From Your Heart Vol 1. (9035)

The flowers were cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut CartridgeKraft cardstock  (Z1375) was used for the large shape on the LH page and the journal box. The bunting title was fun to create using the Adventure Fundamentals (Z2032) Papers.  Cricut cut letters on hand cut flags were mounted with foam tape and I stuck the twine down with liquid glass afterwards.  The trusty Fork Bow technique made short work of the decorative ties. Not sure what a Fork Bow is?  Search it on youtube and be amazed!

At just $10.50 the two Make It From Your Heart How To books are a steal.  Each book features 16 double page layouts, 2 single page layouts and 12 card designs. I have used them over and over in my albums.  Each time I change the papers and embellishments and you would think it was a brand new design.

You can order your copy of this great book here.  Who knows, you may be lucky enough to earn a gift!  Every 5th online order this month will receive one.  I’ll let you know at the end of the month if you were lucky.

Happy CASEing!

‘Four Squares’ Scrapbook Layout

Standard

Creating texture with embossing folders is so easy!  It transforms plain cardstock into something wonderful.  In this layout I started with 3 plain cardstock colours (Whisper, Bamboo & Lagoon) and one Paper Fundamentals (Bamboo) sheet. I cut 4, 2″ squares from each piece and used a variety of embossing folders on the plain cardstock.

Trim your photos to 2", 4" or 6" and they will work with this design

The Chevron Border Punch created a line to hold it all together and I kept the embellishments simple in the top left corner of the page.  My journaling will go under the BFF Cricut cut.

What photos and colours will you use to duplicate this pages?

Check out the range of CTMH embossing folders here and our Fundamentals Paper range here.  Remember every 5th online order this month receives a gift!  I’ll email the winners at the end of the month.

Jumbo Shape Scrapbook Layout

A few weeks ago I participated in a Facebook Virtual Crop.  It was lots of fun ‘cropping’ with consultants all over Australia via the internet.  During the course of the weekend we were given page challenges to complete.  The lovely ladies who organised the event have given permission for me to share these challenges with you!  Big thanks to Bernadette Lewin, Karen Page and Lynda Yeadon.  Here was the Night Owl sketch we worked from, “Jumbo Shape” by Bernadette Lewin…

I love this Cricut shape. I thought the flower tied in nicely with the stained glass window in the church.

I Confetti Wishes is a fun collection to team with the Smokey Plum cardstock.  I loved this layout because it uses the zip strips up.  The frames are cut using the Artbooking Cartridge.

How will you interpret this sketch?  Have some fun with it.
