Who can resist the allure of metallic papers, embossed patterns and shiny embellishments? But sometimes, once they arrive on your doorstep, are you unsure how to use them on your scrapbook pages?
This class encourages you to look through your supplies and pull out the Shiny Things that you love but haven’t used so much.
Then I’ll share 3 gorgeous layouts you can make with shiny NEW products from Stampin’ Up! My photos include Statues in Oslo, a museum in Portugal and a wedding at Lake Gwelup. Scroll down for suggestions of other photo themes you could use.

The class is in two parts
I will begin by sharing pages I have made in the past that feature shiny papers and embellishments. Describing my decision making process and tips for each one. This is designed to help you identify how you would like to use your shiny things.
The second part will focus on two of my favourite techniques for shiny papers – using embossing folders and ink. I’ll share 3 layouts made with photos from different events that all include shiny papers.

Photos – These themes spring to mind when I think of the papers I am using. Celebration events, machinery, rocks & rivers, cute kids, balls, bronze statues, snow, moonlight & Stars, the Olympics, palaces & stately homes, jewellery, gold pours & coins, theatre & ballet, candlelight & firelight, welding, elegant dinners, mining, light shows. Think outside the box as you look through your photos.
Please limit supplies to just what you need as you are sharing a table. If you are working on your own project, pack just the supplies to complete planned pages. Be realistic about what you will get done in our time together and leave the kitchen sink at home 😊
