Mission Possible 2025 Scrapbook Challenge
It's that time of year again! Time to register for the Mission Possible Scrapbook Challenge. This is for you if you want to focus on making progress in your albums during the first 6 weeks of 2025. It's fun, you will learn lots and I'll be cracking the whip (errr, gently encouraging and motivating you) to complete pages that help you live life twice as you record memories of past experiences and special people.
Put simply, your mission is to:
Complete as many traditional scrapbook pages, as you can between 1st January and 12 February 2025.
These pages may be all in one album or divided amongst several albums
Use any size album
Finish pages previously started or begin new ones from scratch
Use what you have on hand or buy new supplies to suit your photos
Earn points for pages made
Reaching the 60-point goal and receive a $25 discount off an order
This can be achieved by as few as 20, 12x12 layouts made from scratch and including a couple of Stampin’ Up! products
If you are finishing off workshop pages, you will need a few more to reach the target.
Remember, you have 6 full weeks to achieve this goal.
Do your own thing or work with handouts shared twice a week
I’ll be sharing two handouts each week, emailed to you on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Several talented Makers from across Australia and New Zealand have worked together to provide you with a delicious array of creative inspiration. Each Demonstrator has prepared a handout that includes three layouts based on one simple sketch. All three layouts use the same paper pack. We’ve focused on papers in the Annual Catalogue.
The first version is FAST to make, with few embellishments and a focus on photos and story. This is perfect for you if you will be scrapbooking in small snatches of time or have a mission to get LOTS of photos onto pages.
The second version is FUN. It introduces a few easy embellishing elements and may add some photo mats.
The third version is FANCIER. This one maintains the sketch design but adds a few more decorative elements. This is a great way to dip into the tools and stamps you have collected that need an airing. It stretches your creativity a little. Perfect for special photos.
You decide if you want to try one, two or three versions from a handout or completely ignore it.
Create by yourself or in the company of others
I will offer a weekly in-person and Zoom class you can join.
These will encourage you to set aside time to work on your albums.
I will teach tips and tricks related to the two handouts shared in the week prior to the class.
You will need to register separately for these events as they are open to non-challenge people too. Once registered for the challenge, you will be given a coupon code to use at checkout to reduce your fee by $5 per class.
In person classes will be held in my home, in Duncraig. All times are AWST. Registration includes your lesson, product sampler and tea/coffee station with a snack.
