I’ve been using these cards in a PML album and loving them but today I decided to use them on a scrapbook page.
The title card was my inspiration. I went to high school with these gals and 40 years after meeting we are still great friends. Whenever we are together we are happy!
The layout is very simple: 4 large PML cards and 2 small lined cards are used on a base of Black Cardstock. Cut the heart PML diagonally to create a mat for the title card. The floral card was jazzed up with the addition of a piece of Pixie thick twine (Z3035) and a gem in the centre of each large flower. Aqua Dots (Z1853), Flamingo Dots (Z1934) and Grey Enamel Gems (Z3089) match the colours of the Live Your Day PML cards perfectly. The fourth large card was used as a photo mount. Before adding the photo, cut the flowers out to use as decorations around the journal box.
Live Your Day PML cards are only available during January 2016. Be sure to order yours from your Close To My Heart Consultant.

I’m on the home stretch completing 2014’s family album! This layout was quick and easy. Each year a group of friends gather to bake for Christmas. In recent years some of our daughters have been joining us which makes it twice the fun. This layout is a celebration of 2014’s delicious creations.
PML cards make journaling so easy
I used Yuletide Carol papers (X7187B) for my background and Ruby Cardstock (X5927) for the photo mounts. The accents and journaling cards came from the A La Carte Pear & Partridge PML Kit (Z3064).
I know as super women, balancing work and family, we are also supposed to be organised well in advance for Christmas… BUT I know the reality of life means this doesn’t always happen. As a paper crafter you know the value of hand made. Today I’m sharing a little hand made card that can be whipped up in a few minutes.
These two cards were made in a few minutes before breakfast! Here’s what you need on hand for card emergencies…
I also have some bright PML packs for Birthday and Just Because card emergencies.
Here’s another quick and easy layout with the Picture My Life Scrapbook program.
Each of the 13 CTMH Picture My Life collections include 44 double sided 4″x6″ cards; 78 double sided 3″x4″ cards; 1 Designed cover sheet and 10 Memory Protectors. This is a sample of the cards in the Avonlea PML kit.
PML cards are designed to be used for pocket style scrapbooking but in today’s post I’ve used a few on a traditional scrapbook page.
This was a super fast page to make. I used the NEW Flaxen cardstock for my background and chose cards from Avonlea PML pack. Each photo is mounted on a 6″ x 4″ card. The title is just 2 cards offset on each other – the print was already on it. The journal box was pre-decorated too – I just had to add the words. Super quick, fun and doable.
