Aussie themed gift wrap

My husband is re-turning 21 tomorrow.  Seems like only yesterday he returned 21 last year!  I am excited to celebrate with him and our family but I'm also excited to have a reason to play with my NEW stamp set, Hoppy Birthday (D1597).  This is one of 5 sets of stamps released EXCLUSIVELY for Australia and New Zealand by Close To My Heart.  You can view all 5 sets by clicking here.



I have a small gift for him... something he really wants but it's just the one gift.  I wanted to make it look a bit special so decided to make my own gift wrap with a matching card.  I used a sheet of good quality copy paper as my base and wrapped the present so I could see the crease lines.  This meant I could centre the feature stamps on the top of the package when it is wrapped.



I only coloured the one image on the top of the package so it really stands out.  I left the rest as outlines.



My card was super quick to make using strips of washi tape and a triple mount for the stamped image.  Another couple of stamps on the envelope and the gift looks fab.  Have some fun with this idea - it would work nicely on plain gift bags too.
