Tourists in our town

For several years Mike and I have been taking time to be tourists in our own town.  Last year for our anniversary, we booked into a hotel in Fremantle for a couple of nights.  Freo is only a 30 minute drive from home but it is a beautiful port city worth spending more than a few hours in.  These pages showcase our anniversary breakfast in the park across the road from our hotel and our dinner in a delightful tapas bar.



The Jubilee papers (X7181B) were a perfect compliment for these photos.  I love the bright primary colours of this pack and the patterns on the papers worked well with the food theme.  The complements pack (X7181C) provided the only embellishments needed.  These are pre-cut decorations on thick card that you pop out and stick down.  No fuss scrapbooking at it's best!

The one element I spent a bit of time on was the mount for the photo of us on the right-hand page.  I used the Scallop Border Punch (Z1851) to create a decorative edge for the mount.  My Corner Rounder got a workout too!
