Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop
Yes! I rolled my eyes when I saw the title of this collection BUT, then I started creating with it and I LOVE the 3 layouts I made. Each one focuses on recent experiences in our Aussie family.
If you arrived from Kimberley’s Blog, Kimmy Adds Sparkle, you are in the right place. If this is your first time on a blog hop, simply read on and enjoy my creations. Click on the link at the end of this post and it will take you to the next blog and so on and so on. Easy and fun! Best part is you can see several different projects to create with Close To My Heart’s Pumpkin Spice collection. When you land back here, you are done and it’s time to hit the scrapbook room for some crafting fun.
The three layouts featured today have very simple base designs which were quick to make. They were part of a pre-launch workshop for Close To My Heart Makers. I did not want to go with an autumn or thanksgiving theme so enjoyed dressing them up with stamps and stickers for a different look..
Cutest Pumpkin in the Patch
This layout records my granddaughter’s early experiences with food. I believe she prefers her mashed pumpkin as a facial cream!
It’s a very simple layout dressed up by paper candy around the title quote and journal box:
- Pumpkin Spice sticker sheet
- Pumpkin Spice Wood Stickers
- Doodled Floral stamps and thin cuts coloured with Tri-blend markers
- Stitched Fancy Brackets thin cuts form the base of the title and journal box
- Rose Gold Liquid Pearls and Steel Stickles used as accents
- 6x4 photo in a Flip Flap with flowers attached to the outside and act as a tab to lift it with
Winter Walks
As soon as I saw the jumper paper I thought of photos taken on winter walks, everyone rugged up against the cold wind, but enjoying being outside.
I had some fun with the Pumpkin spice stickers and wood veneer die cuts creating these two clusters. Using the pumpkin stickers as a base for the winter woollies cluster, I was able to cover their stems so they just look like circles.
Final Farewell
This page will record our last visit to my darling mum before she passed away in July. She loved autumn tones. Adding water coloured flowers from the Doodled Florals stamp set takes your eyes off the pumpkins in the printed paper.
The title for this one is a combination of Cricut cuts and stamping using the super cute Prairie Alphabet stamps.
